After it had been closed for many years, Y Madryn was bought and refurbished in 2021 by five local friends, with a vision to create a community hub and utilise it for local events as well as operating as a pub, café and restaurant.

Woodlands Hall Hotel is situated in 7 acres of its own grounds. The hotel's bar and restaurant are open to residents and non-residents, providing an extensive menu as well as snacks, bar meals and a well-stocked wine cellar.
