Gwesty Minffordd Hotel

The Minffordd Hotel is much more than a Snowdonia hotel, but rather a charming retreat with a good restaurant and a cosy bar serving a good range of wines and traditional local ales and beers. Previously a drovers' inn, the original part of the hotel is 450 years old, and it is situated at the base of Cader Idris. The start of the Minffordd Path to the summit is literally in the back garden, or a 2 minute walk from the front door! Food is served daily in the small and cosy, traditional styled restaurant. Using the finest ingredients, from local suppliers, uncomplicated, yet well presented and cooked dishes are served. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
