Dolawel Guest House provides 4 star bed and breakfast accommodation in the centre of Snowdonia. The guest house is located in the village of Rhiwbryfdir, on the outskirts of Blaenau Ffestiniog, the noted slate town. The village is surrounded by the spectacular and picturesque Snowdonia National Park. The house, built over 100 years ago, is the former residence of the town's slate quarry manager, and has now been sympathetically modernised. Situated close to the A470 trunk road, Dolawel is easy to find, and yet guaranteed to provide peace and tranquillity to all of the guests. Parking is provided within the grounds, in an enclosed parking area. The mainline railway station is just a 10 minute walk away. All of the accommodation is spacious and comfortable with en-suite facilities. All rooms are double glazed, heated and furnished to the highest standards; with colour TV/DVD facility, tea and coffee making facilities, shaver points and hairdryers.
