Abersoch Beach

Abersoch, Gwynedd, LL53 7EF

Abersoch is home to one of the most popular beaches on the Llŷn Peninsula – it’s certainly amongst the liveliest. The main beach is perfect for lounging since it’s in a beautiful, shady location.  The sea is an excellent venue for water sports, especially wind-surfing and sailing, and a great spot to learn how to wind-surf, surf and so on.  It’s popular with families, with gently shelving sands and an exclusion zone for motorised boats as well as restrictions on dogs. In addition to the main beach, Abersoch offer two other beaches, Quarry beach and Town beach. Quarry beach received excellent winds, making it an ideal place for water sports activities and there’s plenty of parking. The town beach can get very busy in the peak summer months, but it’s still well worth a visit. Facilities include a shop, toilets and parking.
